They don’t even ring the bell and every time I have made or seen someone else make this argument, you get a bunch of UPS/FedEx workers in the thread trying to excuse this by saying they don’t have enough time to push a fucking button. 😬
Not a ups/FedEx worker, but I guess it’s not about pushing the button but the potential social interaction that might occur which then takes too much time. But I’m just guessing.

it’s all about the money. they make more money from more deliveries per shift than they lose covering the carrier’s share of ‘‘lost’’ parcel claims.
